MRI Technologist

Per Diem: Produces high quality MRI images in accordance with New York State Department of Health, Federal Department of Health and Human Services guidelines and regulations. Assists during contrast media and flouroscopic procedures. Prepares contrast media for administration. Utilizes PACS to store images, utilizes RIS and HIS to process patient information Utilizes other imaging modalities such as diagnostic x-radiation, CT scanner and portable fluoroscopy as qualified and required. Provides radiation protection to patients, hospital staff and medical staff. Assists with quality control/quality assurance and minor maintenance of imaging equipment. Shall be oriented in the appropriate care handling of patients from all age groups. Assists with radiology department office procedures and performs on-call duties as required. Graduate of accredited radiology school with NYS license and registered ARRT required. Two years of radiology experience preferred.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
